Welcome to MaineLAN.org,
We are a group of friends, family and acquaintances in the State of Maine that gather once a month or more to play PC and console games. While the venue occasionally changes, the faces remain about the same. We're making the effort, now, to expand our group to other interested gamers in our area. If you're interested, then by all means, register! We'll keep a list of venues and a calendar so visitors can see what's coming up and how to get there. For some pointers on where to begin at our new website, check out the article Getting Started in the MaineLAN.org Website Manual I've been working on.
For more information about our LAN Parties, what they are, what to bring and how to get there, click the LAN Parties section above. If you would like to attend a LAN Party, please create a user with the alias that you'll be using in the games at the party, and let us know you're attending in the forum. Soon, we'll have an actual sign-up page with a prepay option. While we're non-profit, we do charge a fee of $10 a head to help pay for food, electricity and fuel for the furnace.

The Popinski LAN of September 2008 was a success. We got a boatload of prizes and the biggest turnout we have ever had. We even had strangers come in off the street on our backroad. Crazy!
We had a Super Smash Bros. tournament on the Wii, when the largest crowd was here. Brent, one of the many new guys to our LAN, won a grab bag of Wii and DS paraphernalia. Maj. Apathy and Popinski were the first out. (Click Read more to get the rest of the events...)
